The Role
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, for a Finance Manager. The Finance Manager will oversee budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting to ensure the company achieves its financial goals. Responsibilities include monitoring financial performance, preparing reports for stakeholders, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards. The role also involves financial risk management and providing strategic recommendations to improve financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting to align with company growth targets.
- Monitor financial performance by comparing actual results with plans and forecasts; provide deep-dive analysis on variances.
- Providing data-driven recommendations to improve profitability and business health.
2. Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure all financial practices comply with Vietnamese Accounting Standards and international benchmarks.
- Manage tax filings, audits, and statutory requirements to ensure 100% legal compliance.
- Identify and manage financial risks if any
3. Operations Management
- Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring timely collections and optimized vendor payment cycles.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and maintain a clean, organized general ledger.
- Ensure all project-based expenses are tracked accurately against client budgets.
- Manage cash flow and daily accounting operations
- Develop and implement robust internal controls and financial policies.
Qualifications
- Experience: around 5 years in accounting or finance. We value candidates who have worked in Agencies (PR/Marketing/Creative) and understand the fast-paced nature of client-servicing businesses.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Working towards a CPA or ACCA is a plus, but not required.
- Languages: Native Vietnamese; English proficiency is required to manage regional APAC billing and international standards.
- Technical Savvy: Expert in Excel and comfortable using SAP or similar
- Mindset: A detail-oriented professional who balances operational execution with strategic vision

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Strategic Planning & Execution
- Strategy Oversight: Plan, implement, and manage end-to-end PR strategies that align with client business goals.
- Campaign Delivery: Act as the primary lead for account organization, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and exceed quality standards.

2. Client & Account Management

- Operational Excellence: Manage budgets, timelines, and internal resources to ensure the “smooth machinery” of the account.
3. Media & Stakeholder Relations
- Network Building: Cultivate and maintain high-value contacts including journalists, influencers, industry associations, and community leaders.
- Event Management: Spearhead the logistics and execution of high-impact activities such as press conferences, media trips, interviews…
- Opportunity Scouting: Proactively research and secure partnerships, co-branded events, and sponsorship opportunities to elevate brand presence.
4. Business Development & Growth
- Pitch Support: Lead and support RFP (Request for Proposal) responses and deliver persuasive pitch presentations for prospective clients.
- Strategic Growth: Contribute to the agency’s growth through market research, creative brainstorming, and strategic thinking for new business proposals.
- Industry Expertise: Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring PR trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to keep the agency competitive.
5. Leadership & Mentorship
- Team Support: Assist senior leadership in the preparation of high-level reports and board-ready presentations.
- Mentorship: Guide junior team members through the nuances of pitch preparation, media pitching, and professional development.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in PR, including at least 2 years at PR Account Manager or Senior Account Executive level.
- Experience of line managing, mentoring or coaching junior team members.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver against deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, including corporate and thought leadership formats, and media relations skills.
- Strong network with media in Tech, Lifestyle, Travel & Hospitality, Real Estate, Luxury…
- Confident presentation and client-facing skills.
- Tenacious and solutions-focused, able to work autonomously.
- Proactive and driven to exceed client expectations and deliver outstanding results.
- Organised, proactive, and calm under pressure.

IMC Project Management
- Plan, implement, and manage IMC (Integrated Marketing Communications) strategies.

STRATEGIC PLANNING
- Gain an in-depth understanding of the client’s business and industry and customer insights to validate and work with PR team to consult suitable solutions for clients
- Leading the team in the pitching process: identify the prospect, develop proposal, presentation and consult client, etc
- Managing & Consulting for the team during the project to ensure excellent work
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience as an Senior Account Manager/ Account Manager, Client Services Manager, or similar role at agencies

Responsibilities include the following:
- Social Media Savvy: Dive into the world of social media, content creation, managing and growing I+P presence on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Threads, etc. Experiment with different formats to keep our audience engaged and intrigued.
- Creative Campaigns: Join brainstorming sessions to develop fresh and innovative ideas for both PR and social media content, contributing unique perspective to client projects, partnership initiatives, and internal activities.
